Alaskan Bush People: Raiven Brown Won’t Let Family See Newborn Son

Alaskan Bush People spoilers, news, and updates tease that Raiven Brown, wife of Bear Brown and new addition to the series, has recently decided that she wasn’t going to let any family members meet her newborn Cove.

Raiven had a tough time during the pregnancy, which continued until the birth of her son Cove. The newborn ended up in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) due to difficulty in breathing. It was a hard decision for Raiven, but it is the best for the current state of her son.

Raiven’s Bout With Pregnancy

Before experiencing a difficult pregnancy with Cove, Raiven is already familiar with this kind of situation. Raiven’s first child with Bear, River, was born in a critical circumstance as well, and it was during the height of the pandemic. Even Bear wasn’t able to see River until six months later.

She also had a miscarriage with her second child, which is why she was cautious when being pregnant with Cove. It was revealed that she has been on bed rest since November last year. Because she had a C-section with River, she also had the same delivery method as Cove.

Moving Back To Texas

Because of her condition, she moved back to Texas to make sure she was near hospitals. She previously lived in the state but also moved around often. She also lived in Colorado and Washington.

Although Raiven brought Cove to full term, Cove was still born with premature infant lung disease, which is the reason why he was immediately admitted to NICU.

Cove Is Home

After recovery, Bear and Raiven were able to bring Cove home. With their son’s previous complication, Raiven is overly protective of Cove. The baby recently had his first checkup upon release from NICU, as per her recent Instagram post.

People were quick to ask if the baby already met Ami Brown. Raiven replied that they are miles apart, with them being in Texas and Ami in Washington. She also added that she won’t let anyone meet Cove until he’s older.

She clearly doesn’t want to be selfish of her son, but the decision is for now. And with what they recently have been through, it is understandable that she won’t let anyone meet her son.
