Bear Brown got the best gift ever this week for his 31st birthday — the gift of sight!

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the Alaskan Bush People daredevil is “almost fully recovered” after being hospitalized last month when he got stabbed in the eye by a tree branch!

Fans flooded Bear’s social media with well-wishes and, according to a source close to Bear, He’s “so appreciative of all of these well-wishes and prayers.”

“Bear sustained an injury to his eye that could have caused severe damage to the pupil. Luckily, the branch only caused some scratching to the cornea and he is almost fully recovered.”

And according to the source, Bear did not put his own injury before that of his mother, Ami Brown, 54 – who he accompanied to Los Angeles, California, last week to undergo tests for cancer.

“He’s been a trooper by taking his parents to the UCLA appointments,” the source told Radar.

Upon his return, Bear shared an update with fans.
